Building off his experience of growing other Non Profit organizations in the area, Joe worked to create a sustainable model that could continue to honor the legacy of his brother-in-law, Tom Reilly. With the help of family and friends, BHSM has thrived as a unique pay it forward model that engages the community to support each other for generations to come. Joe utilizes his Master’s Degrees in Psychology and Management to provide support to the board as well as the Executive Director, Andrea Wentzell.

Jennifer Pilling joined the board several years ago because the mission of the organization struck a personal chord. When she was 8 years old she lost her father in a tragic and sudden accident. The idea of helping families, and specifically the children of families, affected by the loss of a parent really hit home. Professionally, Jen has worked in business development for over 20 years. She is currently the Managing Director of Business Development for TeamAltemus, a startup dedicated to educating collegiate and professional athletes around financial literacy. She lives in Fort Washington and is married with two teenage sons, Jack and Alex, and a Goldendoodle named Dasher.
